Christmas crafts!

It's Christmas again!!
Always an expensive time of year so today I decided to save a bit by making my own wrapping and gift tags!
So going back to play group I got out some potatoes and did some nice easy potato printing!

Settling in

So I haven't posted anything in a while, I have been busy settling into my new home and job. My work placement is going well and I am learning lots about the more commercial side of fabrics. Iv settled in to my little home nicely and have made it cosy with my own furnishings!

Labels

Recently I had some wash care labels made for jodiehtextiles products, here they are sewn onto some scarves.

Cushion creating

Getting ready for the big move to Suffolk by making some cushions for my new flat (when I've found it!).

Work placement

Recently I have been busy going through interview process and trial days and have just found out that I have been offered a 6 month paid placement at a mill which will be great experience and I'm very excited about it!
I'm hoping i will have time on the weekends to continue with my own practise.
So now to get ready for the big house hunt and move!

A day in Loughbourgh

Today I took some of my fabrics to be photographed for a book which Jan Shenton of Loughbourgh University is currently writing. Had a lovely day and hopefully JodieHTextiles fabrics may soon be published!
